Some Interesting Take-aways from a Member's Funeral, April 15, 2026

This past week Diana, a member of our branch passed away. She was the only member of her family who was a member of our Church. In deference to her beliefs and those from our branch who knew and loved her, they invited us to participate. We sang two hymns together and I was asked to dedicate the "grave" which ended up being a mausoleum. 



Here, we just wanted to share the look of the cemetery that is different from what we are used to.



This is a photo of one section of a mauselum where flowers and photos were the main decorations.
Here they had glass encased areas with different kinds of decorations.



Here we see monuments built on many of the graves. We understand that here you have to pay rent on the area where your loved one is interred. If that is the case, these people's relative must be paying for a long time.
