Another Baptism Opportunity We have taken this sister and several family members to church for some time. That is probably why she asked that I baptize her. I was happy to do it and I was glad to see how happy she was afterwards.

My Mom This coming Thursday will mark 90 years since my mother was born. The next day will mark 30 years since she passed away. To this day, I still express gratitude in prayer for being born to the parents I was and I pray that I can be true to the faith that my parents have cherished. (Hymn #254). I am very grateful to have been born in the covenant with the promise I will be with her through eternity if I live worthily.

An Opportunity to Serve The Elders serving in our branch (Smith & Manookin) offered me the opportunity to baptize 9-year-old Bautista and his 8-year-old sister, Victoria. Their mother is a memer but has been less active for many years. I'm grateful that she was prompted to return and to seek this saving ordinance for her children. We have enjoyed taking their family to church as they live some distance south of the city and branch building.

New Granddaughter One of the sacrifices of serving a senior mission is missing out on special occasions.  Meet Paulette Elizabeth Lunt - daughter of Seth (our youngest) and Alli. We are very grateful that she arrived safely and well. We look forward to being with her in 11 months.
