Celebrating Christmas with Local Saints 12/13/25

Friday evening, we attended the San Martin 1st Branch Christmas Party with the Harrisons. Here are most of the branch members seated eating the delicious dinner (grilled chicken and various salads).  True to Argentine tradition, dinner was served about 11:00 p.m.

The young people put on a nice Nativity Pagent.  All seemed excited to participate.

We felt the need to include the star which led the wisemen to the baby Jesus.

Adult men represented the Wise Men. True to tradition, they rode in on camels.

After the Nativity, a young girl gave an impressive demonstration of her skills in the hanging ring.

Between the later dinner, activities and the Harrisons saying goodbye to branch members (they served in this branch for most of a year), we arrived home quite late. It was a wonderful evening. The next night we celebrated with the Tres Portenas Branch with a wonderful dinner of empanadas & desserts.
